Factory Tour Capital draws meeting-goers
Meeting planners looking for something different are heading towards York County, Pennsylvania, which is now in its 10th year of promoting itself as the “Factory Tour Capital of the World.”
The CVB has 21 free factory tours, ranging from the Harley-Davidson assembly plant to Hershey’s Chocolate world.
The local CVB can package a factory tour itinerary, says Zach Chizar, a spokesperson.
“Like our factory tours, our UnCork Wine Trail, with 13 wineries, is also up there in bringing in visitors,” he said.
