Faith-based conference association announces industry event
The Religious Conference Management Association (RCMA) has revealed details of its annual Emerge convention, taking place in Sacramento, CA on February 4-6.
RCMA’s Emerge is a major get-together for religious meeting planners and is expected to attract up to 1,500 delegates for the three-day event.
Sacramento Convention & Visitors Bureau estimates up to 4,000 room nights booked for the event, pumping around $1.2 million into the local economy.
Headquartered in Indianapolis, RCMA is the only multi-faith, non-profit association dedicated to religious meeting planners and serves its members through networking opportunities, education and access to travel benefits.
A schedule of events planned at the convention include daily workshops in religious meeting etiquette, social media and mobile strategies, and best practices for program content.
An Expo is also planned along with off-site events and FAM trips in the Sacramento area.
The Association also hosts ‘Aspire’ regional conventions and trade shows for local members around the country with upcoming events planned for Arlington, TX and Anaheim, CA this year.
