PRESS RELEASE
Farebase Launches ‘Web Bookings Out of a Box’
Farebase.co.uk have launched a new ‘Web Bookings Out of a Box’ system for travel agents. The system gives even relatively small agents the opportunity to have a bookable web site where they can offer published and consolidated fares.
The web site can sit within the branded name of the agent and will be available for customers to make online bookings with them. The agent will not require their own net fares as these will be provided by a selected consolidator. Payments and ticketing can also be handled and ATOL requirements covered by the operator. The agent should therefore need no additional staff to support the new web site.
Entry costs for this system are very low. There is a £500.00 set up fee, £100.00 per month licence agreement and only £1.00 per passenger booking fee. The web site can be up and running within one month of the agent making the decision to sign up.
Managing Director, Jon Constantine, commented: “This white label Internet Booking Engine enables travel agents to offer a bookable web site at very low cost. They are benefiting by taking advantage of existing technology which has already been developed by TelMe Online Limited. This is very similar to the technology we use within the Farebase Portal. It is tried and tested.”
Jon Constantine went on to say: “This system will enable agents to take charge of their own destiny. The increased bookings generated from their own web site should prove to be a very good source of additional income”.
