Farelogix Inc., Fetch offer new Web capability
Farelogix Inc. and Fetch Technologies have joined forces to create what they call a “next generation Web searching and booking capability” for internet travel information.
The combined solution will provide large retail and travel management companies with one-stop access to fares from a variety of sources. It will also enable users to have advanced searching technologies to match inventory with a traveler’s needs, according to the two companies.
Farelogix provides technologies enabling the travel industry to aggregate content from all four major GDS systems, airline and private fare inventory and internet fare sources.
Under terms of the agreement, Farelogix is fully integrating the Fetch application programming interface into its own travel industry solutions.
Fetch Technologies develops software enabling businesses to inexpensively access, aggregate and integrate date on the Web.
Farelogix is a provider of independent faring and multi-source distribution technology.
Said Jim Davidson, CEO of Farelogix:
“By working together we are developing a comprehensive solution that eliminates the complexities of integrating disparate and constantly changing travel data.”
