FCm reports surge in SME business wins
FCm Travel Solutions UK claims it has won SME accounts worth£60 million over the last 12 months.
The travel management company said this represents a 27% increase on the previous year and forecast growth of a further 20% in 2008.
“I believe our continued success in the SME market is because we recognise the value of our smaller customers and view this size of company more strategically within our client portfolio,” said David Thomas, director of sales.
“FCm has retained its geographical offices and not consolidated into a call centre structure. On-line fulfillment, for example, is handled locally which is very different to other major TMCs who centralise fulfillment through a geographically distant and impersonal call centre.”
New SME clients last year included international architectural and design practice Benoy, Stemcor Holdings, Fiberweb and Cambrian Mining.
FCm’s new Belfast office was also appointed to service the £120,000 Regus account across the UK.
