Fiji set to stimulate
NADI – Tourism Fiji is offering consultants the opportunity to win one of 10 Fiji holidays for themselves and their spouses as part of a new million dollar ‘StimulateMe’ trade and consumer campaign which kicks off on March 1.
Agents will qualify for a chance to win the holidays by registering the details of all clients booking and paying in full for any one of a wide range of fully-inclusive Fiji holiday packages.
Released several weeks ago, the all-inclusive packages come complete with return air fares flying Air Pacific, accommodation, airport-hotel transfers and all meals and are available with most wholesalers offering Fiji product.
The packages need to be booked and paid for by the March 21 cut-off date. Travel validity in the main runs until September 30, 2009.
The free holiday incentive is also open to agents who have already booked and received full payment from their clients for the all-inclusive packages prior to the commencement of the ‘StimulateMe’ campaign.
The ‘StimulateMe’ campaign is scheduled to run on national TV until March 21.
Tourism Fiji regional director Australia Paresh Pant said a key component of the consumer side of the campaign was an incentive offering Fiji-bound travellers the opportunity to win one of five $1000 cash vouchers.
To qualify for a chance to win one of the vouchers consumers register their details online via a special Tourism Fiji website once they have booked and paid for their holiday package by the cut-off date.
“In essence the consumer element of the campaign has been designed to draw attention to the incredible value Fiji currently offers to Australian travellers.
“As importantly, it is intended to drive business directly into travel agencies and towards our wholesale partners,†he said.
Holiday prize and cash voucher winners will be announced in April.
