journeyPod and InMotion Entertainment Are First To Offer Electronic Travel Guides In Airports

Downloadable Travel Podcasts Available at 21 Airport Locations

Atlanta, GA – journeyPod, the insider’s guide to the hippest hotels, hottest nightlife, and coolest restaurants around the world, and InMotion Entertainment, the largest entertainment and electronics airport retailer, announced today a strategic alliance to offer on-the-go, downloadable “Travel Guides”.

InMotion customers now have the convenience of downloading free journeyPod “Travel Guides” onto their MP3 players from in-store airport kiosks, dubbed “PlayPoint”. The travel podcasts can be pre-loaded onto Apple’s iPods and various MP3 players purchased at the InMotion locations. Customers can also download free music, games, movie previews, audio books and more.

The journeyPod “Travel Guides” offer localized information on the best restaurants, hotels, bars and attractions in major destinations around the world including: New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, Atlanta, Las Vegas and Tokyo. Future destinations include: San Diego, London and Bermuda.

“Being the largest portable entertainment retailer specifically designed for the transportation marketplace, it was only natural to partner with the company who was first to launch luxury travel podcasts on iTunes.” said Eden Goldberg, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development of InMotion Entertainment. “InMotion caters to affluent trendsetters and early-technology adopters. Offering our customers hip travel podcasts helps us grow our unique retail concept.”

“If you are jumping on a flight to LA or Tokyo, now you can get the inside scoop right from your iPod or MP3 player and learn about local restaurants, nightlife and attractions,” said Ryan Bifulco, Executive Producer and Founder, journeyPod.
