Flavour to savour on Tempo’s private tours
MELBOURNE – Private luxury touring experiences in Spain are offered in Tempo Holidays’ 2010 brochure covering Spain, Portugal, Morocco and Tunisia.
The style and experiences of Tempo’s three new private tours is not readily available in the market, according to product manager, Naomi Beder.
“They’re a little out of the ordinary which will appeal to that growing market sector seeking something special in this very different and exceptionally alive part of Europe,†she said.
Beder cited the six-day Flavours of Northern Spain (from A$5129 per person twin share) as a good example.
This San Sebastian-Bilbao package includes private car touring, wine and tapas tastings, local markets and cooking classes, private sightseeing with English-speaking guides (including the Guggenheim Museum), nine meals and four and five-star hotels.
These include the Hotel Marques de Riscal in the Rioja wine region, designed by Frank O. Gehry, who also designed the Guggenheim.
The brochure also carries dancing, football, bicycle city tours, cooking and wine experiences, walking and historical tours, and flamenco shows in Barcelona, Madrid and Seville,.
An earlybird 10 percent discount is offered on three popular Spain packages if booked and paid in full by February 28, for all departures between March and October 2010.
