Flight Centre appoints corporate technology chief for EMEA
Flight Centre Travel Group has appointed Michel Rouse as corporate chief technology officer EMEA.
He will drive strategic development of technology solutions for its business travel and MICE brands, FCM Travel Solutions, Corporate Traveller, cievents, Stage & Screen Travel Services and Flight Centre Business Travel.
Rouse joins from global travel technology provider Amadeus where, since 2006, he has held diverse high-level roles spanning research, development, product management, solution design and sales.
His most recent position at Amadeus was as programme director, responsible for leading the implementation of an Amadeus-based GDS solution to Flight Centre’s multiple brands in 11 markets.
His extensive career in the technology sector also includes eight years as product manager at Oracle Corporation.
