Bed bank Hotelbeds has signed a preferred deal with Flight Centre to increase its distribution in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Canada, the USA, Hong Kong and Dubai.

Flight Centre’s 550 stores in 10 countries will have full access to Hotelbed’s portfolio of 180,000 hotels in 140 countries, which will supplement Flight Centre’s own range.

In addition, Flight Centre will offer its clients ancillary services from Hotelbed’s Beyond The Bed portfolio, including airport transfers and in-resort activities.

Michelle Connolly, Flight Centre’s Global Procurement Leader – Leisure said: "We have ambitious plans to grow further and extend our sales reach to more international markets, and Hotelbeds is the right partner to do so due to its extensive global portfolio with some of the most special deals and rates."
