Flight is late 96.2% of the time

The dubious honor of the most delayed flight in the US goes to #3007 on Continental regional affiliate ExpressJet, which flies from Newark to Manchester.

It was late 96.2% of the time in October, according to the most recent statistics from the US Bureau of Transportation Statistics.

The second most often delayed flight was an ExpressJet route from Grand Rapids, Mich., to Newark, which was late 92.3% of the time.

The most punctual airline was Hawaiian, which was on time 96.8% of the time in October.

SkyWest, which is a regional carrier for Delta and United, came in second with an on schedule time of 86.2%.
