Flybe chief elected to ERA board
Flybe chief Mark Anderson has been elected to the board of the European Regions Airlines Association.
The CEO of Flybe parent Connect Airways, Anderson will further strengthen the ERA’s role as an influential voice of European aviation, it said.
ERA represents 51 airlines and 153 associate and affiliate members, including airports, manufacturers and suppliers.
Anderson said: "I am delighted and honoured to have been elected to the ERA Board. Regional aviation has an incredibly valuable role to play towards the growth and sustainable success of local economies and in connecting communities.
"We also operate in an ever-changing, challenging and fiercely-competitive environment.I believe that when we come together we have a stronger voice and are better placed to withstand such pressures.
"I am really excited to be able to help promote and champion all ERA members’ interests and to contribute to the important work that the Association undertakes on behalf of the industry as a whole."
