Flybe claims 13% rise in Easter flight sales
Flybe expects to carry a record 98,000 passengers over the Easter period, a 13% rise in sales over last year’s extended break.
Many people are making the most of the expected warm UK weather and are choosing to stay closer to home.
The airline’s most popular routes over the Easter weekend include:
· Belfast City-Manchester
· Gatwick-Guernsey
· Gatwick-Jersey
· Southampton-Edinburgh
· Belfast City-Gatwick
Chief commercial officer Mike Rutter said: “Easter is always a popular time for travellers and this year, due to the fantastic weather forecast across the UK, more people than ever are choosing to take to the skies and experience other areas of the UK over the long weekend. All of our top five Easter destinations are within the UK which is a great boost for UK travel.”
