Flybe names new information officer
Flybe has appointed Thomas Cook Group Airlines’ IT director Peter Hauptvogel as chief information officer.
He will lead Flybe’s IT function and ‘play a critical role’ in building an IT platform and digital strategy, said the airline.
Prior to working for Thomas Cook, Hauptvogel was chief information officer at Air Berlin. He will join Flybe on March 1 and will be based at its Exeter HQ, reporting directly to CEO Christine Ourmieres-Widener. He will also become a member of Flybe’s executive committee.
