Flybe to expand from Manchester
Flybe is to develop a low cost network from Manchester airport with nine routes planned by 2007.
The carrier is to launch flights to Belfast City on January 9 and Exeter on February 16 in addition to an existing Manchester-Southampton link.
The airline says it will add a further six routes over the next two years.
Three flights a day to Belfast and two a day to Exeter are planned with fares starting at £21.99 one-way on each route.
Commercial director Mike Rutter said the new routes were just the start of the airline’s plans for a Manchester base.
