Former Lowcostholidays MD joins Broadway Travel
Broadway Travel Group has appointed Tim Buckman as group chief marketing officer to roll out a digital strategy.
Buckman, who joins on December 1, was previously managing director of the now defunct lowcostholidays before joining digital marketing agency addmustard in February this year.
Prior to joining lowcost, Buckman was managing director of airport transfer company Resorthoppa.
He has also launched a number of projects for brands such as easyJet Holidays and lastminute.com.
Buckman will join the Group’s Executive Board with non-executive chairman Hugh Morgan, CEO Adam Pardini and COO Jill Mitchell.
With the remit of rolling out the digital strategy for the group over the coming months, he also has the added responsibility for the offline and flash sale business.
Buckman will report into Mitchell, who said: "We are delighted that Tim has joined the group at a key time for our strategic growth; we are looking forward to working with him in delivering growth in both our online and offline channels, and enhancing our customer journey. His knowledge and experience will bring huge value to Broadway Travel and our consortia members."
