Fred Olsen confirms director’s sudden departure
Fred Olsen Cruise Lines sales and marketing director Nathan Philpot has left the company with immediate effect.
Philpot joined the cruise line in August 2011 with overall responsibility for sales, marketing and reservations for the UK and international markets, as well as taking charge of product development.
MD Mike Rodwell said: "I wish to thank Nathan for his contribution to the business during his time with Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines.
"The brand has benefitted significantly from his insight and acumen over the years, and we wish him every success with his future plans."
A new replacement will be sought in due course, said the company. It did not give Philpot’s reason for leaving.
Neil Herbert will remain in charge of sales, supported by Jeremy Hatton, and Justin Stanton continues to head up marketing.
