Freedom opts for domestic conference

Monday, 14 Jul, 2009 0

Sixty agents have confirmed their attendance at the Freedom Travel Group’s 2009 conference in Manchester.

The event on November 29-30 at the Midland Hotel will focus on the current trading environment and give members the opportunity to talk to industry leaders about ideas for increasing their share of business in a recession.

Headline sponsors are Thomas Cook, Royal Caribbean International and Manchester Airport Group, all of which will be hosting sessions relevant to their sector and products.

Freedom Travel managing director Jane Atkins said: “Last year’s conference – also in the UK – was a great success, and consequently we have decided to stay in this country again.

“Our members are busier than ever, and a UK conference means less time away from their businesses.”
