French Polynesia scraps arrival testing
The Islands of Tahiti relaxed conditions of entry for inbound travel as of Monday March 28.
All visitors are no longer required to complete a test upon arrival at Tahiti Faa’a Airport or additional Day2 and Day5 tests for non-vaccinated travellers.
Registration to the ETIS platform is no longer required.
Travellers arriving from 28 March, who have already registered on the ETIS platform and have paid their health surveillance fee can apply to have it refunded.
A negative pre-travel antigen or PCR result is still required.
Travellers aged 12 years and older not fully vaccinated are still subject to compelling family, professional or health reasons, and must complete the declaration of compelling reason form.
For those with a verified compelling reason to visit French Polynesia, it is recommended to follow a seven-day self-isolation on arrival.
