Sunday, 15 Mar, 2007 0

Long-standing traditional or “classic” places to travel in the US’s Midwest include unusual Amish Country in Indiana, cheese-laden Door County in Wisconsin and the massive Mall of America in Minneapolis

But Midwest Living magazine decided to determine future classic areas. They cited:

Ø       Michigan’s Upper Peninsula for its wildness.

Ø       For culture, visitors might try the urban areas of Minneapolis.

Ø       For landscapes, there’s the Badlands of North Dakota.

Ø       For racing buffs, there’s Indianapolis, home to the Indy 500 and more.

Ø       For historians, Abraham Lincoln has a presidential library in Springfield, Illinois.

Ø       And for racing buffs, there’s Indianapolis, home to the Indy 500 and more.
