Operator G Adventures has added UK based operators Travelsphere and Just You to its brand portfolio after acquiring the two brands from the failed All Leisure Group, which collapsed last week.
It is understood that G Adventures bought the two brands from Grant Thornton, which was brought in as administrator when All Leisure ceased trading.
A spokeswoman for G Adventures said it was ‘business as usual’ for singles vacation specialist Just You and escorted tours operator Travelsphere.
All current bookings for the two brands have been transferred to G Adventures (UK) Ltd.
However, it is not clear whether all 200 staff will be retained or what G Adventure plans to do with the companies in the long term.
In a statement, G Adventures’ founder Bruce Poon Tip said: "Travelsphere and Just You are both leaders in their fields and we are all really excited that they have become part of the G Adventures family. We are now able to offer an even wider range of escorted tours right across the world and to suit all age ranges.
"We will be working hard to ensure that the loyal customers of Just You and Travelsphere continue to enjoy the award-winning tours that both brands organise, the future looks exceptionally bright and we look forward to expanding the range of tours for both Just You and Travelsphere."
The company declined to say how much it had paid for the two brands or exactly when the transaction took place.
