Gap Adventures offers travel internship opportunity
MELBOURNE – Small group adventure specialist Gap Adventures is searching Asia Pacific for the ideal travel industry up-and-comer to undertake the ultimate travel internship – working out of its Canadian headquarters in Toronto.
Bruce Poon Tip, founder and CEO of Gap Adventures, needs a travel intern who will fit in with his team of energetic explorers seeking to experience the real world with a grassroots approach to travel.
“I have a lot of projects on the go and need help from an energetic intern with a winning personality who’s not afraid to have big ideas,†he said.
“Easy going, smart and up for anything is what works here. You have to love to change people’s lives and enjoy making a difference.â€
Gap Adventures has grown from a one-man operation to a company of more than 700 employees and has become a world leader in adventure travel.
Interns with a passion for travel will experience everything from sales and social media development to event planning and maybe even the Gap Adventures volleyball team.
The ideal candidate must be able to write efficiently and multi-task.
Anyone from the Asia-Pacific region who is successfully chosen for the ultimate travel internship will have their flights paid for; the position lasts for three months and compensation will depend on the level of talent and skill proven.
