Our client is one of the world’s leading wholesalers of hotels, ground products and services to the travel industry. They are now in a position to seek a highly dynamic individual for their business in Asia.
The Job Manage Supplier Relationships across Asia Pacific Oversee negotiations of identified strategic merchant partners Coordinate communication between/among the Supply teams to assure cohesive approach to goals Achieve set monthly, quarterly and annual goals of strategic accounts to achieve targeted business goals such as merchant mix, rate and availability, packaging penetration, revenue and customer satisfaction targets by chain, by consumer brand and by region Monitor industry trends, competitors and identify areas of opportunity with Strategic Accounts The Person Excellent written and spoken English Proven experience in the Travel Industry specifically hotel experience at a Regional and/or global level Proven & excellent negotiating skills Ability to build effective working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders Understand industry contracts and negotiations Solid understanding of the Travel Industry Excellent knowledge of tourism industry and key competitors and industry issues Organisational abilities Ability to work within a highly motivated and success driven team Ability to communicate at high levels, both internal and external Ability to work under pressure |
