Goldtrail drama continues

The Civil Aviation Authority is remaining tight-lipped over stories that it has told some retailers that its Air Travel Trust Fund will not be paying out on Goldtrail bookings.
Goldtrail went under in July after which it was revealed that although it held an ATOL licence it had been dramatically over-trading.
Now it is being suggested that the CAA has told the travel websites Travel Republic and On The Beach it won’t pay up.
A spokeswoman for the CAA neither refused or confirmed the story, saying she did not want to make any comment about it at all.
