Golfers one step closer to Paradise
Travel industry golf enthusiasts gathered at the second TAGS (Travel Alternative Golf Society) meeting of 2010 at a sun-drenched Ifield course on Monday.
The event produced two more qualifiers for the Race to Paradise, a competition to win a trip to Florida’s Paradise Coast.
David Coates of Elmscott produced some stunning golf with gross 68 and 42 points to take the winner’s prize.
The second qualifier was Wendy Hartley of Reed Exhibitions who had a fine round producing 39 Stableford points.
The Race to Paradise competition is sponsored by Florida’s Paradise Coast, Dollar-Rent-A-Car and Virgin Atlantic.
