Grandeur to sail from Baltimore
Starting June 20, Royal Caribbean International’s Grandeur of the Seas will start sailing from its new port of Baltimore.
This marks the cruise lines first ship to sail from Maryland, according to Dan Hanrahan, senior vice president, marketing and sales.
“We are able to offer another convenient departure point to the Caribbean for many on the East Coast, and travelers from other parts of the country can enjoy pre-or-post-cruise time exploring Baltimore and nearby Washington, DC,” he added.
The 1,950-passenger Grandeur is known for its extensive use of glass and a plant-filled Solarium.
The Viking Crown Lounge offers panoramic views through floor-to-ceiling windows.
Starting June 20, Grandeur will sail a weekly Bahamas/Orlando itinerary stopping at Port Canaveral and Key West, as well as stops in the Bahamas.
