Great conditions for a late ski holidays

Sunday, 02 Mar, 2016 0

Resorts across the Dolomites, southern French Alps and Switzerland saw in excess of half a meter of new snow last weekend, with fantastic conditions being reported across these regions.

Plenty more snow is expected over the course of the week, including in the northern Alps, which largely missed out over the weekend.

Good conditions currently prevail throughout much of the Pyrenees, with some fresh snow seeing improving conditions across many resorts over the course of the weekend.  Bacqueira Beret has seen some of the best of the recent snowfall. Plenty more snow is forecast.

Scandinavia is currently offering some fantastic ski conditions, with low temperatures across the region ensuring the snow doesn’t melt. Resorts across Norway are offering some of the best skiing and more snow is one the way.

In Scotland, high windsled to the closure of many resorts across the east earlier this week.

Variable conditions are still prevalent across much of Eastern Europe currently. A light dusting of snow has seen pistes improve moderately across select resorts. For the best conditions be sure to stay at altitude, with lower runs in many regions becoming increasingly worn. The middle of the week looks likely to bring some significant snowfall, with conditions expected to improve accordingly.

Some good skiing is on offer across Canada, with fresh snow improving conditions over the weekend. Plenty of fresh snow is forecast, so expect conditions to only further improve over the coming days.

Good conditions are currently available in many regions across the USA. Piste conditions are good throughout all regions and, with light snowfall expected across many regions over the course of the week, conditions are set to improve.
