Green Globe Attends CHIEF 2017: 2nd to 4th June 2017
Wendy Walker-Drakes will be representing Green Globe this year at the Caribbean Hotel & TourismAssociation’s CHIEF 2017.
CHIEF is the premier educational forum where the Caribbean hospitality industry comes to connect, learnbest practices, share ideas, brainstorm creative solutions to current challenges and build relationships.
Wendy will be promoting Green Globe’s certification program and its benefits both from the expo floor as well as in the planned sessions. Hoteliers and middle managers will be offered the opportunity to understand how Green Globe’s sustainable path and blue print provides benefits to their operations.
Wendy will also be meeting with current members as they share their perspectives on operational improvements while fielding any queries they may have as they continue to grow. Long term Green Globe supporters including Sir Royston Hopkin and Ewald Biemans, will be invited to share their experiences, vision and expectations on sustainable tourism in the Caribbean in the various sessions.
Wendy is particularly keen to contribute to the education sessions which have proven to be successful over the previous two CHIEF forums. And at the same time, listen to the needs of the region, which has been a true home of sustainable tourism for many decades. Tourism businesses who wish to embark on a path to smarter, more efficient and earth friendly options are invited to email Wendy to arrange an appointment.
Wendy says, "CHIEF is a major opportunity to understand and address the needs of the region and we are happy to be a part of finding solutions. When we meet in the Caribbean we lock our minds to work together and we also have a lot of fun!"
