Hard Rock Hotels opens Alps property
Hard Rock Hotels has opened its first hotel in continental Europe – Hard Rock Hotel Davos in the Swiss Alps.
The hotel is in the centre of the city in the historic Alexander House, built in 1882.
The building has been transformed into a ‘a luxury music-inspired alpine escape’ with 65 pieces of music memorabilia including items owned by Michael Jackson, Elvis and Taylor Swift, in its two bars and signature Sessions restaurant.
Catering to both business and leisure travellers, Hard Rock Hotel Davos has 110 rooms, including 31 serviced one, two and three-bedroom apartments.
For ski guests, the hotel has a dedicated ski room where they can store equipment and gear. There’s also a wellness centre, including a yoga studio and spa.
Hard Rock Hotels senior vice president Dale Hipsh said: "We are thrilled to bring Hard Rock’s DNA into the sophisticated environs of Switzerland and the home of the World Economic Forum, Davos."
Rooms start at £264 per night, including breakfast.
