Harriet Green to take up role at IBM
Former Thomas Cook boss Harriet Green is to take up a senior position with computing giant IBM.
She is set to head up one of IBM’s divisions with the appointment expected to be announced later today.
Green left Thomas Cook in November 2014 and was awarded shares worth more than £5.5m in June, based on her performance during her two-and-a-half years in charge.
She pledged to donate one third of her share award to charities chosen in consultation with the parents of the two children who died in Corfu while on a package holiday sold by Thomas Cook.
It followed a row over how Thomas Cook handled the tragedy while Green was chief executive.
