Hawaiian Airlines introducing premium service on Sapporo route
Hawaiian Airlines is upgrading its trans-pacific service to Japan’s Sapporo New Chitose Airport by introducing Airbus A330-200s on the route.
The upgrade adds premium service from Honolulu with a three-class service.
The new aircraft begin plying the route on February 1, 2018 with full-flat seating and premium economy seats.
"We are delighted to offer our Sapporo guests the comfort and amenities of the A330 aircraft as they enjoy the Hawaiian hospitality that defines our in-flight experience," said Hawaiian Airlines’ Japan country director Takaya Shishido.
Sapporo New Chitose joins Tokyo’s Haneda and Narita airports and Osaka in offering wide-body A330 flights.
Reservations are already live for the upcoming service.
Hawaiian launched flights to Sapporo in October 2012 and says it has carried about 200,000 passengers on its three times a week service using Boeing 767-300ERs.
