Hawaiian Airlines offering USD2,000 bonus for new hires
Hawaiian Airlines is ramping up hiring of new workers and is offering a big bonus to sweeten the deal. The airline says staff shortages are ‘particularly acute’ on Maui and is offering a $2,000 sign-on bonus to fill jobs there.
In total, it is looking to hire 400 workers as service agents, ramp agents, operations managers and aircraft mechanics across Hawaii and the US Mainland. The airline has already recalled most of its furloughed workers.
It currently employs nearly 7,000 workers.
