Hawaiian carrier Mokulele offering standby fares
Hawaiian inter-island carrier Mokulele Airlines has announced limited time promotion offering special standby fares for $30 including taxes and fees.
The carrier said it will be available on selected flights until the end of April.
Mokulele serves 10 destinations in the Aloha State – Kahului, Hana, Kapalua, Lanai City, Hoolehua, Kalaupapa, Honolulu, Kalaeloa, Kona and Kamuela – and the available flights for standby fares are posted on its Twitter feed.
Passengers booking a standby fare are asked to show up at check-in two hours prior to departure to be listed and seats will be confirmed at least 15 minutes before take-off on a first come, first served basis.
Baggage fees may apply are to be paid separately at check-in.
