Hawaiian launching daily San Francisco-Maui flights
Beginning November 20, Hawaiian Airlines will offer non-stop services between San Francisco and Kahului as the carrier continues to ramp up coverage in the Bay Area.
Initially four times a week, Hawaiian will move to a daily service starting December 17.
Hawaiian Airlines’ wide-body Airbus 330-200 aircraft will be deployed on the route with 294 seats.
The airline’s chief commercial officer Peter Ingram says Northern California is one of its largest North American markets.
"This year we’ve brought back our San Jose to Honolulu service, offered new seasonal non-stop flights from Oakland to Kona and Lihue, and now we are launching daily service between San Francisco and Maui—all in response to the robust demand we’ve received from the Bay Area," said Ingram.
"We are very pleased to connect two existing gateways in our network together, offering Hawai’i residents another way to travel to the Bay Area, and Northern California travelers another reason to visit the Hawaiian Islands."
Hawaiian offers direct flights from 11 gateway cities in the US, more than any other carrier.
