Hersheypark campground adds deluxe log cabins
Planning to smell the chocolate this summer? How about doing it in a brand new log cabin in the official campground of Hersheypark?
Hershey Highmeadow Campground has just added 10 deluxe log cabins, each large enough to accommodate seven guests, for the summer season.
Nine of the cabins have two bedrooms, bunk beds, and a sofa. One has one bedroom and a queen-size sofa bed in the living room.
All 10 cabins have full amenities year-round, including heat and air conditioning, a ceiling fan, and a dinner table; a kitchenette with stove top, microwave, and refrigerator; a bathroom and shower; a living room with a flat-screen television and DVD player; and a porch with a grill and picnic table.
The one-bedroom deluxe log cabin rate starts at $147 per night; the two-bedroom rate starts at $156 per night.
Guests at Hershey Highmeadow Campground get free shuttle service to the 110-acre amusement park, which is less than three miles away, as well as discounted admission to the park, Hershey Gardens, and The Hershey Story, The Museum on Chocolate Avenue.
The Park opens for the season on May 3; admission includes the ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park. New this season are two slides at The Boardwalk at Hersheypark and a Shoreline Sprayground.
Hershey Highmeadow Campground is a full-service 55-acre campground with more than 300 sites, including tent sites, RV sites, and cabins (including log, extended log, and deluxe cabins), with free Wi-Fi throughout.
