Hertz joins X-tant’s Traveleye
Car rental company Hertz is to offer online bookings to travel agents through X-TANT’s integrated selling system, Traveleye.
The agreement means that agents will be able to book Hertz’ complete portfolio of products in 7000 destinations worldwide using Traveleye’s web browser by clicking on a Hertz icon.
According to Hertz’ director of marketing automation William Hennessy, the deal with X-TANT supports the car rental operator’s e-commerce strategy. Mr Hennessy said: “Our presence on Traveleye will raise our online profile with agents and help us to lead the way to increased online reservations.”
