Hicks leaves Conrad to join China specialist
Laurence Hicks has joined Wendy Wu Tours in the newly-created role of general manager and managing director designate.
Hicks starts working with the China specialist tour operator on May 1 at its Tabard Street office in London.
Wendy Wu claims to be a leading operator to China in Australia and said it wants to achieve the same level of success in the UK.
Hicks joins from Conrad Advertising and previously held senior high profile positions at Inghams and Hurtigruten (previously NCV).
Hicks said: “Whilst my current role at Conrad is linked to travel, I have missed being at the heart of a product driven travel business.
“I am departing Conrad on very amicable terms and will continue to be a good ambassador for them in the travel arena as I have the highest regard for the business.”
