High profile exits at lastminute.com
Three high profile figures have left lastminute.com as the Internet retailer restructures its business. Former group commercial director Simon Terry and group operations director Doug Sawers have resigned and will leave in March. Their responsibilities are being redistributed among other management. The two were both directors of Holiday Autos and their departures mean that most of the car rental’s management team have gone since it was purchased by lastminute for £40 million less than two years ago. Founder Clive Jacobs left last year. Meanwhile, director Andrew Windsor left the company at the end of December. Lastminute.com chief operating officer Ian McCraig said: “We will be sorry to see Doug and Simon go and would like to thank them for their contribution to the growth of the business.”
