Hilton introduces new micro hotel brand Motto

Friday, 24 Oct, 2018 0

Hilton has unveiled yet another new brand with the upcoming launch of Motto.

Motto by Hilton is positioned as an affordable lifestyle brand of micro hotels in urban destinations.

Hilton says it took some inspiration from the lifestyle hostel model to create an affordable urban lifestyle brand with flexible layouts.

Average room size is just 14 square meters but will come with a range of space-saving innovations.

These include wall-beds and lofted beds, segmented shower and toilets, and furniture that can be stowed.

"We’ve deconstructed the traditional hospitality experience to create something fresh and exciting," said Tripp McLaughlin, global head, Motto by Hilton.

The brand debut will be marked with the 2020 opening of the 100-bed Motto by Hilton in Marylebone, London.

Deals have also been agreed for Motto by Hilton hotels in Savannah, San Diego, Boston and Washington, D.C.

Motto will be part of the Hilton Honors guest loyalty program.
