Hilton “unsettled” by Stanley profits warning
Travel and tourism shares had a tough time yesterday as London’s main equity indices fell back.
The FTSE 100 index dropped 41 points to end the day at 4806, while the broader-based FTSE 250 fell 67.9 points and closed at 6915.5.
The biggest fall came at Hilton which, according to The Guardian, was “unsettled” by a profit warning by Stanley Leisure.
