Seabourn offers savings to early bookers
Seabourn has launched what it calls its 2012 “Signature Savings Event,” which involves benefits and special amenities for early bookers on a worldwide array of trips this year and next. The promotion includes special benefits that include savings of up to 50 percent, complimentary suite upgrades and complimentary pre-or-post cruise hotel stays, among other benefits. Seabourn’s Signature event applies to select cruises in Europe, South America, the Caribbean, Canada and New England, India and other areas. These include “thoughtfully appointed suites, many with verandas; superb dining in a choice of venues; open bars throughout the ship; fine wins poured at lunch and dinner; award-winning personalized service and a relaxed atmosphere.” Cruises of seven days to world cruises of more than 100 days are offered.
Hotel hits home run
InterContinental Tampa says visitors can “score big” and get “home field advantage” by sliding there during their Spring Training package that includes 20 percent rate discounts and a “fan tool kit,” which includes a baseball for sighing, Crack Jacks, bubble bum, even a history of the song “Take Me Out to the Ballgame.” The hotel’s location is near the Legends Baseball Field and the airport. The package runs through April 4. The InterContinental Tampa’s award-winning “In the Know” concierge directs guests to popular Tampa Bay destinations, as well as local hideaways. Personalized service is a trademark of the hotel.
Delta says avoid “skyway robbery”
Delta Vacations says buying a handful of plane tickets for an entire family can “feel like skyway robbery.” So it is offering a “kids fly free” deal, which includes two complimentary lane tickets (up to a $300 value) for children aged two to six with the purchase of a week-long vacation package to Walt Disney World Resort Also, travelers who are part of Delta’s Sky Miles Program will earn 50 bonus miles when taking the offer. Users need to book a package of seven nights or longer and travel between now and May 31. Disney’s “Value Season” runs through now and early February, but there are blackout dates through April. The offer is good only for telephone reservations and other stipulations apply.
