Hotel offers a “sleeper” style amenity
Rest easy: The Fairmount Washington, DC has a new sleep concierge.
Guests who opt for upscale Fairmont Gold rooms receive a “sleep menu” with a choice of “melting,” “soaking” or “dreaming” items.
Melting includes an in-room, 15-minute massage and a 30-minute yoga class.
Soaking involves rose petals, a lavender-scented candle and sleep-inducing tea.
Dreaming is a sleep smoothie with lavender cookies, a music CD and an eye pillow.
All of the items are priced between $8 and $30. The sleep concierge makes personal deliveries.
