Park Resorts buys Yorkshire holiday park

Holiday parks operator, Park Resorts, has purchased Skipsea Sands Holiday Park for an undisclosed sum.

The park, between Hornsea and Bridlington on the East Yorkshire coast, brings its portfolio to 37.

The buy comes after Park Resorts acquired Landguard Holiday Park on the Isle of Wight last month.

Skipsea Sands features over 700 holiday caravans and a dedicated area for touring caravans and motor caravans.

It is located close to sandy beaches at local beauty spot Flamborough Head.

Other facilities include an indoor swimming pool with water jets, an adventure playground and sports hall, an entertainment centre, bars, a shop and a launderette.

Park Resorts has other holiday parks in Yorkshire at Withernsea Sands, Humberside; Barmston Beach, near Bridlington and Cayton Bay at Scarborough.
