The Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort and Spa on Hawaii’s Big Island has completed an extensive upgrade in excess of $50 million. All 555-guest rooms have been completely redesigned and new amenities added include the new Blue Sky Coffee Bar and 12,000 square-foot Naupaka Ballroom. The new luxurious and multi-level Mandara Spa offers signature treatments and takes advantage of the sweeping ocean views. The property is offering an introductory “Discover Waikoloa” room rate of $199 per night for reservations booked by July 15 for stays through December 19, 2007. Ritz-Carlton Kapalua closed on July 2 for an extensive $95 million renovation. The hotel will transform its current 548 rooms into 363 renovated guestrooms, with 107 of those rooms becoming two-bedroom, full-ownership residential suites. The Wyland Waikiki has reopened its doors after completing renovations valued at tens of millions of dollars. Hawaii’s first artist-inspired hotel is celebrating its opening with a special room and breakfast package starting at $169 per night based on room category. Rates are based on double occupancy and include complimentary daily breakfast for two at the IHOP Waikiki located across the street from the hotel. Rates are valid through November 30, 2007. Hilton Kauai Beach Resort offers a “Summer Splash” special to introduce their new 75-foot flume and lava tube waterslide.
