Huge fire threatens Yosemite National Park
Firefighters made some progress containing the huge fire endangering California’s Yosemite National Park.
However it is only 6% contained and has scorched more than 17,200 acre so far. Thousands more people had to evacuate on Monday.
The Oak Fire is California’s biggest fire this season.
Yosemite National Park said air quality in the park has been badly affected.
Mariposa County has been under a state of emergency since Saturday.
Cal Fire said. over 2,000 structures in the area are still under threat.
