Hugh Morgan joins Cosmos Tours

Tuesday, 25 Nov, 2015 0

Cosmos Tours has appointed former Monarch chairman Hugh Morgan to the board of directors.

Morgan, who left Monarch Travel Group last October after it completed a rescue deal with private equity firm Greybull Capital, will represent the company’s shareholders in the UK and will continue in the role previously held by one of the main shareholders, Fabio Mantegazza.

Former Avro managing director Michael Vinales has also been appointed business development director, while former head of finance Samuel Parker becomes finance director.

"All three bring to the business decades of experience and will position the company to take full advantage of the growth of opportunities in today’s fast changing travel industry."

The board will continue to be led by MD Alan MacLean.
