Hyatt adding Caribbean resorts
Hyatt Hotels Corporation is teaming up with Be Live Hotels to expand Sunscape Resorts & Spas brand across the Caribbean.
The Caribbean hotels collaboration is expected to expand Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection by nearly 2,000 rooms.
Inclusive Collection was established after Hyatt’s acquisition of Apple Leisure Group in 2020.
Two Be Live Hotels properties in the Dominican Republic, owned by Globalia, will be renovated and transformed into Sunscape Resorts & Spas.
The renovated hotels are expected to open in 2023.
“This planned expansion marks an opportunity to broaden all-inclusive family-friendly offerings in a desirable market,” said Hyatt’s Javier Coll.
“This collaboration showcases the combined potential of Hyatt and Apple Leisure Group.”
Sunscape Resorts & Spas offer a fun ambience where the entire family can do activities together.
Resorts have the supervised Explorer’s Club for kids while teens have their own space at the Core Zone.
Hyatt’s all-inclusive portfolio includes Hyatt Ziva, Hyatt Zilara, Zoëtry, Secrets Resorts, Breathless Resorts and Hyatt Vivid Hotels.
