Iberia signs Worldspan full content deal
Iberia has become the sixth airline in six months to reach a full content distribution agreement with Worldspan.
The three-year deal will see the Spanish carrier’s schedules, availability and fares be available to agencies, travel websites and corporations worldwide via the GDS.
Iberia has also implemented Worldspan e-ticketing across 30 countries.
The other airlines to sign full content with Worldspan recentkly are Air France, American Airlines, Lufthansa, SAS and SWISS.
Iberia’s commercial logistic vice-president Jose Arribas Moro said the full content agreement would “enhance the marketing goals and support internal operational efficiencies” at the airline.
