Ice storm leads to further US flight disruption

An ice storm has disrupted US flights again with cancellations and delays reported.

American Airlines has cancelled 532 flights today, and Envoy Air, 350.

Dallas Fort Worth International Airport is the worst affected with 57% of flights leaving the airport cancelled and 49% due to arrive cancelled.

The weekend was also blighted by delays and cancellations due to fog and poor disability.

Yesterday there were 5,351 delays and 1165 cancellation including Denver, Philadelphia, Reagan International, Chicago, JFK and LaGuardia Airports.

On Saturday there were 3,426 delays to travel within, into or out of the US. There were 1,600 cancellations according the flight tracking website, Flight Aware.

So far, there are only 25 cancellations in and out of Dallas Forth World International Airport for tomorrow.
