IHG chosen as Official Hotel Partner for British & Irish Lions Tour Australia
IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG) has been selected as the Official Hotel Partner of the Qatar Airways British & Irish Lions Tour to Australia.
IHG is no stranger to the game.
The partnership builds on IHG’s two-decade-long relationship with Rugby Australia as a key sponsor.
The British & Irish Lions return to Australia for the first time in 12 years this June, and will play six Tour matches, with three Test matches against the Wallabies in Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney.
As an Official Partner, IHG will have a presence on and off the pitch, including activations inside the Lions Den and Wallabies fan zones in the three cities.
IHG Hotels & Resorts’ branding and logo will be on the Wallabies’ match shorts.

In the lead up to the Tour and during the June-August matches, IHG One Rewards loyalty members will have access to exclusive benefits, including exclusive packages available on the IHG One Rewards Access platform, social media giveaways and on-property activations.
IHG was also first Official Hotel Partner of Six Nations Rugby.
The British Lions Tour is expected to attract more than 40,000 inbound visitors as well thousands more Aussie fans around the country.
IHG has over 50 hotels in Australia.
